Introduction to 14th EU-China Fair With the theme of “Co-constructing the ILSTC, Co-creating New Hubs of Openness, and Co-Sharing New Opportunities for Cooperation”, and focusing on “New Rules, New Channels and New Trends”, the Fair explores the new features, challenges and opportunities of current global investment and trade, vigorously promoting the all-round cooperation between western regions represented by Chengdu and EU countries in the field of investment, trade and technology.

The new economy as a new economic form is becoming a powerful driving force for quality change, efficiency transformation and power transformation in China and EU enterprises, which opens up a new broad space for the industrial chain coordination and deepening cooperation between Chinese and European enterprises, and create new challenges as well as unprecedented opportunities to Chinese and European enterprises. This event co-presented with Startseite Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Swiss Hotel Management School, The Montpellier Business School (France), Italian Art Alliance, University of Palermo (Italy) and other European partners, will integrate top vocational training think tanks, institutions in China and EU, combine with the actual needs of employers, and discuss on topics including development ideas of vocational education, important progress, development trends, skills challenges faced by industry enterprises, combined work and learning and modern apprenticeship, quality assurance of vocational education training and promote the cooperation in vocational education between China and Europe.

The Forum will include European and Chinese water resources exchange platform, European enterprise network environmental protection industry cluster, Ministry of Environmental Protection of Lafayett(Germany) and other European partners, integrate bilateral top environmental policy experts, research teams and industrial clusters, and conduct forward-looking communication on green development and utilization of sustainable water resources. The forum will focus on industrial policy trends and promote bilateral environmental science and technology cooperation through keynote speeches, technology sharing and exchanges.

The 2nd EU-China Roundtable for International Conference and Exhibition Industry Cooperation, on the basis of the successful holding of the first roundtable will promote the establishment of a long-term cooperation mechanism for the exhibition industry in China and Europe according to the “Three-Year Action Plan for the Construction of the Capital of International Conference and Exhibition”. The “EU-China Convention and Industry Cooperation Chengdu Action Plan” will be released in order to build a Closer community for the exhibition industry.
